Shaw & Sons’ profits rise to €1.8 million

Shaw & Sons, the company behind some of the Shaw family’s ‘almost nationwide’ chain of shops, increased its pre-tax profit to €1.8 million last year.

The company had sales of €24.9 million in the 12 months to the end of January, down slightly from €25.2 million the previous year, according to new accounts.

At the end of the financial year, it had an accumulated profit of €6.6 million and shareholders’ funds of more than €23 million.
