A bill to modernise family law and ensure equality for those in civil partnerships in the area of parentage, guardianship and the custody of children will be published in the autumn.
A new bill to modernise family law and ensure equality for those in civil partnerships in the area of parentage, guardianship and the custody of children will be published in the autumn.
This is according to the Minister for Justice, Alan Shatter, who said the legal reforms to ensure "fully inclusive equality and family legislation" would be enacted next year ahead of any planned referendum in 2014.
