Shares report: ISEQ closes up 0.3%
Shares were mixed today as US retail sales provided a boost but US markets were hit by a fall in Apple shares.
European shares rebounded from their longest stretch of weekly losses since August amid an increase in takeover activity.
In Dublin, the ISEQ index was up 0.3 per cent. Irish Life & Permanent was up 12.9 per cent, Dragon Oil was up 2.7 per cent after it said it expects gross production growth of 15 per cent this year. Independent News & Media fell 4.4 per cent, while Elan was down 1.6 per cent.
