European shares declined for the fourth time in five days before Italy and France sell a combined €13.5 billion of short-term debt.

In Dublin, the ISEQ Index fell 0.26 per cent at 8:05 a.m. Among the shares in the index, seven rose, four fell and 40 were unchanged. Declines in the ISEQ Index were led by Crh, Ryanair and the Bank Of Ireland.
