Irish shares rise, tracking a global rebound as hopes rise for a credible solution to the European debt crisis

Irish shares rebounded for the third day after another good day for markets in Asia and the US.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was 31.37 points higher at 2,472.70 in early trade.

Analysts said concerted efforts by policymakers to sort out the European debt crisis were paying off.
