European stocks dropped to their lowest level in over three months today, as concerns mounted over the renewed build-up of Russian troops along the border with Ukraine and a report showed German factory orders unexpectedly fell in June.

NATO’s deputy secretary general said yesterday that about 20,000 troops have amassed on the border with Ukraine, coming closer to Ukrainian territory than in March when Crimea was annexed.
