Share report: markets up on World Bank forecast

European stocks advanced, with the benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 Index rising for a fourth day, after the World Bank raised its global growth forecast.

European stocks advanced, with the benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 Index rising for a fourth day, after the World Bank raised its global growth forecast.

In Dublin, the Iseq index rose 0.6 per cent. London’s FTSE was up 0.4 per cent, while the DAX in Frankfurt was up 1.2 per cent. In France, the CAC was up 0.6 per cent.
