European shares rose to the highest level in more than 23 months as companies reported earnings and a report showed house prices in 20 US cities increased.
Dublin’s ISEQ was up just 0.04 per cent and Irish food company Greencore, which is listed in London, fell 5.9 per cent following a trading update.
But London’s FTSE was up 0.7 per cent, while in Paris the CAC rose 0.1 per cent. Frankfurt’s DAX was up 0.2 per cent....
