European shares were little changed as US housing starts for May missed estimates amid concern the Federal Reserve will signal stimulus cuts at its policy meeting starting today.

In Dublin, the Iseq index was up 0.3 per cent. London’s FTSE rose 0.7 per cent, while the CAC in Paris was down 0.1 per cent. In Frankfurt, the DAX was up 0.2 per cent.
