Share report: markets down as euro inflation falls
European stocks were little changed as investors awaited economic data on euro-area unemployment and US factory orders, while a gauge of Chinese manufacturing missed forecasts.
European stocks declined from a six-year high as a report showing lower-than-estimated inflation in the euro area prompted investors to weigh the outlook for interest rates before Thursday's European Central Bank meeting.
In Dublin, the Iseq index fell 0.1 per cent, while in London the FTSE fell 0.2 per cent. In Frankfurt the DAX was down 0.5 per cent, and the CAC in Paris was down 0.3 per cent.
