Share report: Juncker comments hit markets

European stocks declined for a fifth day as Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker said the strength of the euro currency threatens the region’s economy.

European stocks declined for a fifth day as Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker said the strength of the euro currency threatens the region’s economy.

Dublin’s ISEQ index rose slightly and was up just 0.1 per cent a short time ago. Elsewhere, London’s FTSE was down 0.5 per cent, while the CAC in Paris was down 0.2 per cent. The DAX in Frankfurt was also down 0.2 per cent.
