US stock futures were hit by jobs data. With most markets closed, we also take a look back at the heady heights the ISEQ was at five years ago this Easter.

Japan's Nikkei index fell. Many other markets are closed.

US stock futures fell after American employers added fewer jobs than forecast in March.

Stock markets throughout Europe and north America will remain closed for Good Friday and so are spared the likely losses that would have followed such news. But futures traders had a short 45 minute window to trade following the release of the data before the Easter holiday officially kicked off on Wall Street.
