Share report: Italy auction weighs

European shares are dropping as Italian borrowing costs hit new highs after a bond auction; Ireland's ISEQ joins in

The ISEQ index of Irish shares tracked declines on European share markets after Italy's borrowing costs hit new highs.

The ISEQ index, having peaked at 2,544.23, was recently down 17.95 at 2,494.71.

Elsewhere shares fell as a disappointing Italian bond auction raised more worries about the euro debt crisis.
