European stocks were little changed before a report on hiring by US companies that may help investors assess the pace of Federal Reserve stimulus.

In Dublin, the Iseq index was up 0.4 per cent. London’s FTSE was down 0.3 per cent, while the DAX in Frankfurt was down 0.2 per cent. In Paris, the CAC was down 0.1 per cent.
