European stocks gained, after falling the most in two months yesterday.

European stocks gained, after falling the most in two months yesterday, amid speculation China may announce new stimulus measures to support economic growth and before the Spanish government presents its budget for 2013.

Dublin's ISEQ index gained 0.3 per cent, while the FTSE in London was up 0.4 per cent. In Paris, the CAC rose 1 per cent and the DAX in Frankfurt was up 0.6 per cent.
