National benchmark indexes rose in 11 of the 18 western European markets today, with Dublin’s ISEQ index among those making gains.

Share report: ISEQ index closes higher
The ISEQ index finished 1.29 per cent up.

European stocks rose for a second day, extending the Stoxx Europe 600 Index’s longest stretch of weekly gains in more than two years.

National benchmark indexes rose in 11 of the 18 western European markets today. Germany’s DAX climbed 0.13 per cent, while France’s CAC closed marginally lower, and was down 0.03 per cent.
