Shares fell across Europe today

The Iseq index closed slightly down today, shadowing a general decline in European shares across markets.

The markets fell after a report showed the US economy grew slower that forecast in the fourth quarter and as talks continued between Greece and its creditors for a debt-swap deal.

In London, the FTSE 100 closed down just over one per cent.
