Share report: European stocks drop from two-week high

European stocks fell back from a two-week high and US equity-index futures fell as companies including Amazon and LVMH missed earnings estimates.

European stocks fell back from a two-week high and US equity-index futures fell as companies including Amazon and LVMH missed earnings estimates.

LVMH earnings were worse than expected as demand weakened in Asia and the company lost 6.4 per cent in trading this morning.

Air France-KLM Group rose 3.6 per cent after posting second-quarter profit that exceeded expectations.
