Share report: European shares rise
The Iseq index and European shares rose this morning, in advance of a crucial monthly US jobs and unemployment report.
The Iseq index rose this morning, as European shares advanced, paring yesterday’s largest slide for the Stoxx Europe 600 Index in more than a week, as investors awaited the monthly US jobs and unemployment report.
At 8.45am, the Iseq index was marginally higher, at 3151, than yesterday's closing level.
US index futures climbed, while Asian shares fell.
