European shares climbed to a one-week high as euro-area finance ministers met for the first time this year to address the region’s debt crisis.

European shares climbed to a one-week high as euro-area finance ministers met for the first time this year to address the region’s debt crisis.

In Dublin, the ISEQ index closed up 0.1 per cent. London’s FTSE was up 0.4 per cent, while in Paris, the CAC was up 0.6 per cent, as was the DAX in Frankfurt.
