Share report: Chinese funds add fuel to markets

European stocks advanced, with the Stoxx Europe 600 Index rising to a six-year high, as investors weighed corporate results and China’s central bank added funds to the financial system.

European stocks advanced, with the Stoxx Europe 600 Index rising to a six-year high, as investors weighed corporate results and China’s central bank added funds to the financial system.

In Dublin, the Iseq index was up 0.4 per cent, while in London the FTSE rose 0.1 per cent. The CAC in Paris was also up 0.1 per cent and the DAX in Frankfurt rose 0.3 per cent.
