A new business aviation association has been set up with the aim of attracting more corporate jets to Shannon Airport, and in a bid to boost foreign direct investment in the region.

The business aviation industry already has a turnover of more than €300 million annually in Ireland, and Shannon Airport is the only non-US airport in the world with pre-clearance for US private jets.
