A significant management shake-up is on the way at AIB under new chief executive David Duffy.

Fergus Murphy, who is currently chief executive at EBS, is being lined up to head the corporate banking arm of AIB and to succeed the retiring Jerry McCrohan. Two or three new appointments are also to be made to the bank's executive committee, it is understood.
