SFA: Creative thinking needed on jobs

John Perry, the Minister for Small Business, is fully behind the importance of driving job creation in the Irish economy, writes Caroline Allen.

Job creation will be central to Ireland's economic recovery and the Programme for Government has that target at its core, according to Minister for Small Business John Perry. He said that an improved employment environment will restore both business and consumer confidence. The government's €500 million jobs initiative, launched in May 2011, set out to restore confidence in the economy, both internationally and domestically.
