Services sector continued expansion in March, says survey

Ireland’s services sector continued to expand last month with new export business proving a key source of growth over the coming year.

Ireland’s services sector continued to expand last month with new export business proving a key source of growth over the coming year.

The latest NCB Purchasing Managers index for the services sector registered a reading of 52.3 in March, slightly down on February’s figure. A figure above 50 indicates expansion and March was the twentieth month of expansion, NCB said.
