SEPA: AIB is leading the way in the great Sepa migration
Businesses need to prepare for Sepa immediately, according to Peter Vance, head of payments at AIB. Margaret O'Brien reports.
AIB has successfully migrated more than 30 per cent of our payment file submitting customers to Sepa, and migrated the largest direct debit originator in Ireland (Electric Ireland). Being one of the leading European banks for direct debit processing, and as the only Irish bank that is a direct member of the European clearing centre, AIB has the experience to guide customers through the Sepa changes by the deadline of February 1, 2014.
