Thirty new models are to contend for the Semperit Irish Car of the Year 2006 award. The award will be announced on November 24.
Those nominated for the award include the Chevrolet Matiz to the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Other models which are likely to appear on the awards short-list are the VW Passat, the Opel Zafira, the Suzuki Swift and the BMW 3 Series.
