Paul Simmonds, co-founder of the Jericho Forum: 'Unless you have an organisation with a large security team, the chances of properly auditing the cloud provider are nigh on zero'.

The cloud is all about commoditising IT and making it simpler, but repeated surveys reveal that the number one concern of prospective customers is that it comes at a price - and that price is security. They are worried about how safe their data is, where it resides, and how hosting affects their regulatory requirements. So what do security experts think?
