More than €1 billion could be saved every year if the public and private sectors used mediation instead of pursuing disputes through the court.

This is according to figures to be presented at the Irish Commercial Mediation Association (ICMA)’s conference in Dublin’s D4 Berkeley Hotel on Friday.
