Secret tax settlements net Revenue €61m
6,500 mortgage holders may be offered lifeline by liquidators
The Revenue agreed a secret €24 million tax settlement with a company last year.
It was one of ten large settlements worth a total of €61 million which were not included in the published list of tax defaulters. Revenue also signed-off on a €15 million tax settlement with a private individual in 2012.
