The Revenue agreed a secret €24 million tax settlement with a company last year.

It was one of ten large settlements worth a total of €61 million which were not included in the published list of tax defaulters. Revenue also signed-off on a €15 million tax settlement with a private individual in 2012.

The details of the largest unpublished tax settlements last year were obtained by The Sunday Business Post under the Freedom of Information Act.
