Secret inspections to start for taxis

The taxi regulator received just 30 complaints in the first month of the new national taxi fare structure, despite widespread opposition from taxi drivers to its introduction.

The taxi regulator received just 30 complaints in the first month of the new national taxi fare structure, despite widespread opposition from taxi drivers to its introduction.

The regulator Ger Deering, said that the nine enforcement officers, who start working at the Commission for Taxi Regulation next month, would conduct undercover inspections of taxi drivers throughout the country.
