Plans for the Constitutional Convention have been delayed as the government continues to search for a chairman or woman, *The Sunday Business Post* has learned.

The RTE broadcaster and historian John Bowman was approached over the summer, but has declined to accept the role. Government sources admit that finding an "appropriate person" to fill the role is proving difficult.
