Scrap this directive

Thanks are due to Poland for blocking the proposed EU Directive about patenting software for a second time earlier this week. As a small software developer, we appeal to the Irish Government to support the Poles and European Parliament in seeking the directive's withdrawal.

This directive, strongly supported by major software companies, will constrain the development of indigenous firms.
