Savita lawyer used media exposure to benefit case

The solicitor representing Praveen Halappanavar, whose wife Savita died following a miscarriage at University College Hospital Galway, has said he drip-fed information to the media.

The solicitor representing Praveen Halappanavar, whose wife Savita died last October following a miscarriage at University College Hospital Galway, has said he drip-fed information on the case to the media to keep the issue in the public spotlight.

Solicitor Gerard O'Donnell gave an interview to the Law Society Gazette, a magazine produced by the solicitors' representative body.
