Satellite Sports, a company that owns a nationwide chain of sports shops, has collapsed owing more than €1.2 million to the Revenue Commissioners.

Satellite Sports, a company that owns a nationwide chain of sports shops, has collapsed owing more than €1.2 million to the Revenue Commissioners.

The company, which operated 18 stores throughout the country at its peak, was wound up at a creditors' meeting last week and a liquidator was appointed. It is understood the company has debts of more than €2 million.
