President Nicolas Sarkozy said he’ll seek to freeze France’s contribution to the EU budget if he’s re-elected next month.
President Nicolas Sarkozy said he’ll seek to freeze France’s contribution to the European Union budget as part of his effort to trim the nation’s budget deficit if he’s re-elected next month.
A freeze in contributions would save France €600 million a year, Sarkozy told journalists in Paris as he unveiled his campaign platform.
