Sandycove residents forced to raise €100k

A group of homeowners in Sandycove, Co Dublin, who are suing a firm of solicitors for alleged negligence, have been ordered to put up almost €100,000 in case they lose their action.

A group of homeowners in Sandycove, Co Dublin, who are suing a firm of solicitors for alleged negligence, have been ordered to put up almost €100,000 in case they lose their action.

The 37 homeowners, through their estate management company, Ronbow, are suing Sorohan Builders, Joseph Sorohan, and 20 partners in Beauchamps Solicitors over what they say are problems to the title of their estate. The claim is denied.

Sorohan Builders was the developer of Elton Court....
