Samsung Mobile will launch an assault on the Irish market in an attempt to become the second highest-selling phone brand in Ireland.

Samsung Mobile will launch an assault on the Irish market in an attempt to become the second highest-selling phone brand in Ireland.

It will do so armed with a €1 million marketing campaign and two new phones, according to executives in its new Irish division.

The manufacturer, now second only to Nokia in worldwide sales, is seeking to build on its estimated 15 per cent market share in Ireland.
