Samsonite, the largest branded-luggage maker, is pulling its Tokyo Chic line of suitcases to replace handles after reports they contained carcinogens.

Samsonite, the largest branded-luggage maker, is pulling its Tokyo Chic line of suitcases to replace handles after reports they contained carcinogens.

The Massachusetts-based company said in a statement it had an “absolute conviction” the Tokyo Chic line was safe to use and said the recall was aimed at ensuring consumer confidence.
