Salthill students talk the talk

Debaters from Coláiste Éinde in Salthill, Co Galway, were jumping for joy last Wednesday after winning the Griffith College schools legal debating competition.

Debaters from Coláiste Éinde in Salthill, Co Galway, were jumping for joy last Wednesday after winning the Griffith College schools legal debating competition. Four teams debated the motion "This house believes that social networking sites are a social and legal nuisance".

The winners were Macdara McGuire, Eduard Mucha, Cara Brophy-Browne and Jeffrey Lyons, who were presented with a trophy and Clarus Press vouchers worth €150. Mucha also won the best speaker award...
