Sales at Smyths Toys increase to €133m

Sales at Smyths Toys, an Irish-owned retailer, increased by almost €10 million to €133.8 million last year.

Sales at Smyths Toys, an Irish-owned retailer, increased by almost €10 million to €133.8 million last year.

The firm, which is owned by the Galway-based Smyth family, made a pre-tax profit of €11.2 million for the year to the end of July 2004, according to accounts just filed. This was a drop of €1.6 million on the previous year.
