The sale this week of Westport’s Carlton Atlantic Coast Hotel will secure over 50 full and part-time jobs in the county Mayo town, its receivers have said.

Stephen Tennant and Paul McCann of Grant Thornton, who were appointed receivers by Bank of Scotland, said today that contracts for the sale have now been signed and that the new owners will commence operations before Christmas.
