Sage weathers a drop in turnover

The Irish unit of accountancy and CRM software firm Sage saw its turnover fall off by 10 per cent last year, but continued to trade profitably.

The Irish unit of accountancy and CRM software firm Sage saw its turnover fall off by 10 per cent last year, but continued to trade profitably.

Sage Hibernia, the Irish subsidiary of London-listed Sage plc, reported turnover of €20.5 million for the year ending September 30, 2008, down from €22.9 million a year previously. The company booked a €2.6 million profit from the year, a decline from 2007, when it reported a profit of €3.3 million.
