Technology company Silicon & Software Systems (S3) last week announced plans to invest €9 million in research and development initiatives, with the support of Enterprise Ireland.
The funding will see the company create 20 new jobs in Dublin and Cork before the end of 2008.
John O’Brien, chief executive of S3, said the investment would be used to develop advanced integrated systems and components for the communication infrastructure and wireless markets.
