Ryanair is cutting five routes out of Edinburgh airport with traffic set to drop 15 per cent from April.

Ryanair is cutting five routes out of Edinburgh airport with traffic set to drop 15 per cent from April.

In a statement on its website, Ryanair said 300 jobs might be lost because of the move.

The move followed what it said were the breakdown of negotiations with BAA Edinburgh "about a competitive cost base for further Ryanair growth at Edinburgh".
