Ryanair shares drop as it receives EU objections

Budget airline Ryanair said discussions continued with the European Commission about its package of remedies designed to address concerns on offer for Aer Lingus.

Ryanair: still talking to the EU

Budget airline Ryanair saw its shares drop more than six per cent today amid concerns over its bid for Aer Lingus.

Ryanair insisted that discussions continued with the European Commission about a package of remedies designed to address the Commission’s competition concerns in relation to its offer for Aer Lingus.

However its shares dropped 6.2 per cent to €4.69, three times faster than the market average.
