Ryanair passenger traffic falls in January

Ryanair carried 50,000 fewer passengers in January 2013 than it did in the same month twelve months previously.

Ryanair carried 50,000 fewer passengers in January 2013 than it did in the same month twelve months previously.

The airline's shares were down 0.8 per cent a short time ago. It said in a statement that the previously predicted one per cent drop in monthly traffic figures was as a result of its decision to ground up to 80 aircraft following the busy Christmas period.
