Ryanair passenger numbers rise 6% in October

Low cost carrier Ryanair said that its passenger traffic grew 6 per cent in October. The airline carried 8.02 million passengers during the month.

Low cost carrier Ryanair said that its passenger traffic grew 6 per cent in October. The airline carried 8.02 million passengers during the month and its annual traffic to the end of October was up 2 per cent to 80.9 million customers.

Load factor, a measure of the ratio of passengers to seats offered for sale, also improved slightly, rising to 83 per cent from 82 per cent in the previous month.
