Ryanair gambles on online check-in
Ryanair is to introduce online check-in and an in-flight entertainment system which includes gambling, the airline's chief executive has told The Sunday Business Post.
Michael O'Leary also said the airline had no intention of revising the plans for its Shannon base, despite lower-thanexpected yields.
Ryanair announced record first quarter profits of €64.4 million last week.The results showed that costs had been cut by 9 per cent (excluding fuel price rises). O'Leary said that online check-in would reduce costs further.
